The starting point has KE because it is starting off when it is moving and is at it's lowest point. I think point one has the most GPE because it has the highest point. I think point three is increasing GPE because it is going in an upward position. I also think that point five has the least amount of GPE because it has the lowest point. Point one has the least amount of KE because it is not moving at all. Point three is decreasing because it is going up. Point five is increasing because it went down the slope of the roller coaster. My conclusion is the reason why KE and GPE are related is when GPE is the highest and can release at any moment which has the most KE when it is realease on the roller coaster.
